Day + Night 8: Jet Ski + Rumours Friday

We found a water sport place that carries the kind of jet ski Annie prefers so we returned there so she can fulfill her summer wish of driving a jet ski. The place is called Force8 Watersports and the guy working there Tony is super awesome and friendly. Annie rented a sea doo jet ski and I took photos and videos while she was out in the water. First Tony talked her about the jet ski and made sure she was comfortable and knew everything then she was on her own. She started of slow to warm up first, but then later she was driving that thing around like mad. I was definitely impressed by her jet ski skills. After her drive, Tony let us use the beach beds which was super awesome! 🙂 We talked to him for a while about travels, his and ours. It was around that time that my energy started dropping, and because of this we ended up staying there chilling out all afternoon. After the beach we went back to the apartment …

2016 Travel Outline

This is what the 2016 Travel Outline looks like at the moment. Things change on the go, so I really don’t know where I will be when the actual month comes along. Some events I’m pretty sure I will be at like TBEX Europe 🙂 I miss all of my new friends from TBEX Europe 2015 & cannot wait to be reunited with them again in a new European Country.          2016 January: Birthday in Rome, Italy February: Open March: Open April: London Visit & Traverse Event in Cardiff, Wales [Originally was supposed to be 1 month in Bali, Indonesia which was postponed due to conflicting schedules] May: Open June: Open July: TBEX Europe 2015 + Helsinki, Finland as well as other nearby Scandinavian countries which I haven’t visited: Norway & Denmark August: Open September: Ibiza October: Open November: Latin America December: Latin America That’s the basic outline, but it changes constantly. A big Music Festival is on my Bucket List as well, so I would love to do that & cross over to Brazil via Canary Islands on …

4 Hours of Water Sports followed by 1 Amazing Spanish Lunch!

I was super excited for the second day of our A Different Barcelona tour because we had Water Sport activities on our schedule. This was one of the main reasons why I picked this tour! The itinerary said that we would try out one of the following water sport activities: Paddle Surfing, Kayaking or Sailing. I wanted to try out sailing. Our lovely tour guide picked us up with our tour bus up from our hotel early in the morning and we headed toward the Barcelona Olympic Port. We arrived at Vela Barcelona where we were about to try not 1 but 4 different Water Sport activities, each lasting 1 hour long! I was completely insanely excited about this as I love water sports and generally being in water. The water at the time (beginning of May) was still on the cold side, but we were provided with awesome wet suits. As I predicted, I was horrible at paddle surfing. Balancing on that board was a challenge for me. I managed to stand up a couple of times within …

Sangrias, Sunshine & Bossa Novas from Ribeira Square in Porto, Portugal

The most beautiful moments in life just happen by chance. In March I had a pleasure of experiencing one of those magical moments of pure perfection in Porto. The sound of live music got my attention – Soft and smooth Brazilian Bossa Novas were dancing in the air. I picked a perfect spot, front row seats for this live show. I started people watching, as the sun warmed up my face. My Sangria order arrived and it was perfectly delicious! As time passed, and my drink slowly vanished in front of my eyes, I decided that I would extend this moment a bit longer and savour every beautiful second I possibly could. This is where my little reward comes in – I decided to order another glass of this perfect sangria just so I could stay in this beautiful moment awhile longer. As the afternoon turned into an early evening and my bill arrived, only one sangria was on the bill. A reward indeed! This entire afternoon was very rewarding for me and I am …

My first EPIC Skydiving Adventure with Skydive Empuriabrava

A few months ago, a list for TBEX (Travel Blogger Exchange) pre-tours was posted online and I just happened to be online at the time. I was a bit bummed out prior because I missed out on an opportunity for some of the pre-tours already. There were 15 new tours set for May 3rd and I quickly scanned through them and one surely stood out from the rest. I managed to quickly reserve a spot for myself on this exciting tour that was only accepting seven members in total. Within an hour or two, the tour had all seven members on board. Now, what really stood out about this trip was the 10am Skydiving session. SKYDIVING!!! When I read this word on paper, the adrenaline rushed through me and I just couldn’t contain myself. The other tours included hiking, visiting a fishing village etc, absolutely nothing was as exciting or thrilling or even close in adventure to skydiving. The funny thing is Skydiving wasn’t even on my Bucket List, and I didn’t even think it would …

Catamaran Sailing Party in Costa Brava

What do you get when you combine Travel Bloggers & Unlimited Sangria together? Tons of fun! One of the fun pre TBEX tours was a 3 hour Catamaran cruise of Costa Brava’s beautiful shoreline and I managed to secure a spot for myself for this fun adventure at sea. On April 30th about 100 Travel bloggers departed from Lloret de Mar for the Catamaran cruise.  We had an open bar, a lunch bbq and snorkel equipment all provided for us during the tour. There was non-stop awesome party music playing on the boat and we all had a big dance party at one point. Here are some photos and a video from this fun group adventure 🙂 Making new friends 🙂 We stopped by this beautiful secluded beach and of course I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to not jump in for a quick swim.
