Location: the beautiful Scottsdale Waterfront
Right next to the Herb Box Restaurant at the beautiful Scottsdale Waterfront location is The Herb Box Market. This pretty little place has all sorts of goodies, from interesting snacks, to salads, divine desserts and awesome drink options. When I lived in Scottsdale, I usually came here for their Gluten Free cakes which are absolutely out of this world delicious! They have a Gluten Free cake of the day every day and a Happy Hour on cakes after 4pm. If you have Gluten issues and you are in the area, this place is most definitely worth a visit. This one is a classic and should be viewed by all Travel enthusiasts, especially the adventurous type. I have visited all the Arizona sites listed in the film. Easy Rider also has an incredible soundtrack which you can listen to bellow.
The Saguaro cactus at Saguaro Lake, Arizona These amazing giants are truly breathtaking! The first time I saw them was in the evening, on my drive from Flagstaff to Scottsdale. I was surprised by how tall they were and how there were so many of them around. Waking up in Scottsdale and going outside and seeing the beautiful desert landscape for the very first time in the morning daylight is an experience that I will never forget. This feeling of landscape beauty and awe stayed with me during my first year in Scottsdale. Every day I couldn’t believe that I lived in such a pretty place, I felt really lucky. Arizona still remains in my heart, and it will stay there forever. – [To really understand the scale in this photo: that’s me looking up at a Saguaro cactus. I’m 5’7″ or 1.70m and that’s what I saw above me when I captured this photo] To participate in this week’s Photo Challenge click here
