Guaba Red Sunday w/ Matisse & Sadko & YVES V

Last Saturday during my mini work break I received a notification that I won a VIG package from Guaba Beach Bar – that’s a sofa & a bottle of Guaba Nectar for me & 8 people. I was so excited especially since I had the Sunday off & was planning to head over there for their amazing Red Sunday DJ line-up. This was my first ever DJ show at Guaba Beach Bar which is by the way the #13 Best Club in the World. The rule was everyone wears RED otherwise you aren’t allowed in. The highlights of the line-up were Matisse & Sadko & of course the amazing YVES V. The place quickly flooded with people in red & the music & the atmosphere kept on getting better and better. Below are photos from this amazing event.

Day 9 Part 4: Aphrodite Hills Resort & Aphrodite’s Rocks at Sunset

After our lunch at Kouklia Village we headed for Aphrodite Hills Resort. This place is huge and has tons of beautiful properties for sale and rent. One of the houses had a Libra sign on it, so I took photos of mum and Annnie in front of it since they are both libras. We also noticed a church on the way and stopped by to take some more photos. The church dates back to the 12th century. After our little tour of the Aphrodite Hills Resort, we enjoyed drinks on the sunset terrace upstairs. I ordered tea for my sore throat, which helped a bit. Our last stop of the day trip was stopping by Aphrodite’s Rocks at sunset to touch the rocks and make a wish. I found a couple of photos of Aphrodite’s Rocks from our earlier pass by stop that were in my camera so I’m adding those below. The sunset later was crazy cool. I made a video of it which is also below. VIDEO: Aphrodite’s Rocks VIDEO: Aphrodite’s Rocks VIDEO: Aphrodite’s Rocks Sunset Previous Posts: Day 1 – Night …

Day 9: Part 2 – Columbia Beach Resort

After Avdimou Bay & Pissouri Bay we stopped by Columbia Beach Resort which is absolutely incredible! It’s so quiet and relaxing here, it’s no wonder tourists come here to relax and enjoy the sunshine and the sea. The first couple of photos below are of apartment rentals on the same street as the resort. The first photos of the resort are the beach access and the water sports, then the little church, the resort grounds, one of the restaurants and the cycling club, and then the swimming pool photos. Day 9: Part 1 – Avdimou Bay & Pissouri Bay

On Saturday my parents were picking us up and we were going on an all day trip out west. I asked my mum to bring me over a fresh green smoothie so I can get better asap. We started with a quick stop at Avdimou Bay first then we were off to Pissouri Bay. We made little mini videos throughout the day on most of our stops. 🙂 VIDEO: Avdimou Bay VIDEO: Above Pissouri Bay Previous Posts: Day 1 – Night 1 w/ Miss Anna R. Day 7: Walk this Way

On Thursday I suggested we go over to La Isla Beach Club for cocktails and to swim at their pool, but when we go there, they told us the pool was already closed for the season. So we continued walking…We also passed by Guaba Beach Bar & Club which is actually the #13 club in the world. I’ve been wanting to go here ever since I’ve arrived in Cyprus, but never found anyone that wanted to come along. We ended up walking all the way to the Four Seasons Hotel and ended staying at that beach for our swim session. Then later continued walking even further while taking photos along the beach. We took the bus back to the apartment and then got ready for the evening. VIDEO: Four Seasons Hotel Beach Mini Vlog Previous Posts: Day 1 – Night 1 w/ Miss Anna R. Day 6: To the Sea

After our morning breakfast and coffee, we went down to the beach below the apartment and along the coast walked over to the private beach of the Londa Beach Hotel. The beach was very small but very private and pretty. We totally loved the wooden dock in front of the hotel. After the beach we went to the apt to shower and change and then took the bus all the way to Puesta where we had lunch with the Mediterranean views. I don’t even remember what we did on Wednesday night but I think we went back to Apollonia hotel that evening again. Previous Posts: Day 1 – Night 1 w/ Miss Anna R. Day 4: Nissi Beach baby! :)

Previous Posts: Day 1 – Night 1 w/ Miss Anna R. Day 2: Part 1: Mediterranean Day 2: Part 2: Molos & Marina Night 2: Breeze 10 Year Anniversary Day + Night 3: Beach, Sushi & Cocktails We woke up early and took a long walk to our bus station that was taking us to the east side of the island. Apparently we stood at the wrong station, but I signaled the bus driver and luckily he stopped for us anyways. This was a good thing, since the next bus was coming 2 hours later. We were taking the intercity bus this time which takes you from 1 town to another and since we were transferring buses to multiple destinations, we got the all day pass for €15. For the next 90 minutes we were chilling in the back seats of the bus. When we got to Larnaca, we made a quick video and changed buses and headed for Agia Napa. Day + Night 3: Beach, Sushi & Cocktails

Previous Posts: Day 1 – Night 1 w/ Miss Anna R. Day 2: Part 1: Mediterranean Day 2: Part 2: Molos & Marina Night 2: Breeze 10 Year Anniversary We slept in, had our regular large coffees and oatmeal for breakfast on the balcony at the apartment, and we started chatting….a chat that was still going on 4 hours later. We had to stop talking for a second so we can get out the door and get to the beach. We picked out new bikinis for this beach day and since it was already getting late, we decided to walk over to a nearby beach. The rule was new beach every day so we continued with that. Annie said it was her wish to go jet skiing this summer and she hasn’t done that back in Ohio, so I told her not to worry about it, she can do that here. After the beach we went to our apartment to shower and get ready for the evening. We walked over to the nearby restaurant again for …

Wellbeing Wednesdays

Hey guys! I hope you are having a great week in your part of the world. If you missed the previous 2 Wellbeing Wednesdays posts you can find them below:   Let’s get right to it! It’s getting hotter over here on the island. Highs are now around 34-38+ C (93-100+ F) & the humidity has most definitely risen too. I know because, I am just finding out how much sweat my face can actually produce. I am pretty sure, this is healthy.  So far, I’m loving the weather. ☀ ☀ ☀ Every day is super sunny & I am pretty sure this powerful sun could make the most miserable person smile! 🙂 –> 10 Healing Benefits of the Sun Workout Hours: Probably around 5+ hours of mostly cardio this week. Because of the workout increase which is burning more calories, I’ve been eating more too. I have just realized that I’ve been eating mostly vegan food this summer, probably about 95% of the time. Which is pretty awesome! I think more than 50% of the food I’ve been eating …
